How many decibels is a Blomberg dishwasher?
Each Blomberg dishwasher prints one of four figures, 44, 45, 47 or 48 dBA, and it shows up in the product name, page bullets, a "Silence level, dBA" spec row on older pages and a "dBA" row on each spec sheet.
- 44 dBA: DWDT57330X (stainless, pocket handle) and DWDI57330 (panel ready).
- 45 dBA: DWT81800SS (bar handle), DWT81800SSIH (pocket handle), DWT81800FBI (panel ready) and DWT52800SSIH (front controls).
- 47 dBA: DWDT56310X (stainless, pocket handle) and DWDI56310 (panel ready).
- 48 dBA, 24 inch: DWT51600SS, DWT51600FBI, DW51600SS, DW51600FBI and the front control DWT52600SSIH.
- 48 dBA, 18 inch: DWS51502SS and DWS51502FBI.
We compared the title, bullets, spec rows and sheet wherever each appeared, and the number agreed on all 15. Only the DWT81800SS page title drops the figure, while its bullets and sheet still say 45.
Which Blomberg dishwasher is the quietest?
The quietest Blomberg dishwashers are the DWDT57330X and DWDI57330, both at 44 dBA. They are new to the range: Blomberg's store lists the stainless model from June 23, 2026 and the panel ready one from October 16.
Their sheets name a PowerWash spray system, condensation drying with SelfDry, a self cleaning filter, folding tines on both racks and a strip LED light. Each holds 16 place settings and runs "6+6 (Download programs)", the second six arriving through the HomeWhiz app.
The sheets give a 33 7/8 inch minimum height, a 24 1/64 inch depth and a 34 inch minimum cutout. Blomberg ships both a hardwire junction box and a plug-in power cord.
What separates a 44 dBA Blomberg from a 47 dBA one?
The 44 dBA DWDT57330X adds SelfDry, Wi-Fi, PowerWash, an interior light and a sixteenth place setting over the 47 dBA DWDT56310X. Both carry 2026 sheets with the same 33 7/8 inch body, 1,400 W rating and 225 kWh a year.
The 47 dBA pair uses a 5 level wash system instead of PowerWash and has six programs with no downloads. In exchange it keeps Half Load, which the 44 dBA sheet marks "No", and adds the red LED floor light.
Blomberg never says which of these parts moves the figure. Read the list as what comes with each number, not as the cause of it.
How loud is the Blomberg DWT81800 series?
The DWT81800 series lists 45 dBA in all three versions: the bar handle DWT81800SS, the pocket handle DWT81800SSIH and the panel ready DWT81800FBI. The front control DWT52800SSIH shares that figure and most of the same sheet.
All four hold 16 place settings, carry a full size third rack Blomberg calls a "FlexiDrawer", dry by Active Ventilation and run eight programs. Their sheets add a PowerWash spray arm, an interior light and 225 kWh a year.
What they lack, compared with the 44 dBA pair, is SelfDry and Wi-Fi. For a buyer who wants a bar handle, the DWT81800SS is the lowest figure available.
Which Blomberg dishwashers list 48 dBA?
Seven Blomberg dishwashers list 48 dBA: the DWT51600SS and DWT51600FBI, the DW51600SS and DW51600FBI, the front control DWT52600SSIH, and the two 18 inch DWS51502 models. None has a third rack.
The DWT and DW pages differ mainly in height. Blomberg's pages give the DWT models 33 7/8 inches and the DW51600 models 32 13/64, though every one of those sheets still asks for a 34 inch cutout.
Four of the 24 inch models add the red LED floor light. All five 24 inch models dry by condensation on their sheets and run six programs, with 234 kWh a year.
How loud is the Blomberg 18 inch dishwasher?
Blomberg rates both of its narrow dishwashers at 48 dBA: the stainless DWS51502SS with a bar handle and the DWS51502FBI for a custom panel. Each measures 17 5/8 inches across, takes 8 place settings and offers five programs, among them Clean & Dry.
Their sheets ask for an opening 18 inches wide, 34 high and 24 deep. Both list Half Load, Sanitize and Extra Dry, and neither has a third rack or an interior light.
If a lower figure in a narrow body matters more than the brand, the 18 inch dishwasher ranking compares models from other makers.
Does Blomberg make a panel ready dishwasher?
Yes, six of them, at every figure Blomberg prints. Each lists the same dBA as its stainless twin, so choosing a cabinet front costs nothing in noise on paper.
- 44 dBA: DWDI57330, with SelfDry and Wi-Fi.
- 45 dBA: DWT81800FBI, with a full size third rack.
- 47 dBA: DWDI56310, with the floor light.
- 48 dBA: DWT51600FBI, DW51600FBI and the 18 inch DWS51502FBI.
The panel and handle are not included with any of them. Panel ready machines from other makers sit side by side in our panel ready guide.
Where do Blomberg's pages and spec sheets disagree?
Blomberg's pages and sheets disagree on capacity, drying and height for several models, though never on the dBA figure. The sheet is usually the more detailed source.
The DWT52600SSIH page lists 14 place settings and "Drying Static" in its spec rows, while its own bullets and its sheet say 16 and condensation drying. The DW51600 sheets say 16 place settings where the pages say 14, and the DWT51600FBI page has a bullet for 16 against 14 everywhere else.
Heights slip too. The DWT81800SS page gives 33 7/8 inches and its sheet 32 3/16. The 18 inch pages list 220 kWh a year and static drying; their sheets say 234 kWh and condensation.
Does Blomberg have a quiet or night program?
No Blomberg sheet lists a quiet or night program. The 44 dBA models' downloadable set covers Rinse & Hold, Delicate, Heavy, OrganicWash, Clean&Shine and InnerClean, and the older models list nothing of the kind either.
What Blomberg offers instead is a general claim. Its older product pages credit "three layers of noise-suppressing insulation" and a Brushless DC motor that "lowers wash-cycle noise", and several 2026 sheets say the steel tub absorbs noise better than plastic. None of these comes with a figure.
The DW, DWT and DWS pages all list "Brushless DC motor Yes", from 45 to 48 dBA, so the motor alone cannot explain the spread.
Which Blomberg dishwashers are discontinued?
None, as far as Blomberg's site shows. On November 4, 2026, its Discontinued Products page, filtered to dishwashers, listed no models, and all 15 dishwashers appeared in the Dishwashers collection the site menu links to.
Two loose ends suggest a transition. An older "dishwasher" collection holds only the 13 top control models, leaving out both front control units. And the "Specification Sheet" and "User Manuals" links under /media/documents/ on the older pages returned errors, while the dated sheets beside them loaded.
