Quietest central vacuum: VACUFLO's 466Q and DB3000 rate 59.7 dB(A) at 6 ft
VACUFLO is the only central vacuum maker that names its test, and its 466Q and DB3000 rate 59.7 dB(A) at 6 ft under ASTM draft F11.50.17. VacuMaid rates its SR36 and SR66 58 with a vented exhaust, while Drainvac and Hide-A-Hose print 60 with no basis, so no brand is set against another.

Quietest wet dry floor cleaner: Karcher prints 59 dB(A), Roborock 70 in ECO, Tineco 78, Eureka 80
Karcher's FC 7 Cordless lists a 59 dB(A) sound pressure level, the lowest cleaning number any floor washer maker prints. No maker names a distance or test, so Roborock's 70 in ECO, Tineco's 78 and Eureka's 80 each stand alone. Dreame and Narwal give drying figures only.

Dyson vacuum decibels, 82 to 87 dBA of sound power on four models
Dyson rates the V15 Detect and Motorbar V11 at 82 dBA of sound power in Boost on carpet and 87 on hardwood; an Australian sheet puts the Gen5detect at 84. The Car+Boat reads "HP82 dBa" with no mode. The V8, V12, V16, Gen5outsize, PencilVac and robots carry no figure.

Quietest handheld vacuum: five hand vacs and the decibel figures their makers print
DEWALT declares 75 dB(A) of sound pressure for its DCV501HB and 76 for its DCV517B. Makita and RYOBI print 68 dB(A) without naming what was measured, and Dyson rates its Car+Boat at 82 dBa of sound power. Each kind of figure stays in its own group, with a car vacuum answer.

Miele vacuum decibels chart, 73 to 79 dB from Guard canisters to Triflex sticks
Miele prints one "Volume in dB" line per US vacuum data sheet: 73.0 to 75.0 for bagged Guard canisters, 78.0 for the bagless Boost CX1 pair and 74.0 to 79.0 for Triflex and Duoflex sticks, never naming a mode or standard. The chart lists each figure in Miele's words. Classic C1 and Blizzard CX1 get none.

Quietest window cleaning robots, and the one decibel figure with a distance
HOBOT gives the only window robot figure with a distance: 64 dB at 1 m for the 2S and 298. Ecovacs prints 66dB for the WINBOT W2S PRO OMNI and 68dB for the W2S OMNI with no distance, Mamibot prints ceilings, and the suction fan that makes the noise runs for the whole clean.

eufy robot vacuum noise level is 54 to 55 dB in standard suction
At 54 dB in Standard suction with the vacuum only, the Omni S2 has the lowest exact figure in eufy's only noise table, on the Omni C20 page: 0.22 dB under the C20 and 0.89 dB under the C28. eufy gives no figure for Quiet, Turbo or Max on its current robots, or for any of their stations.

Narwal Freo noise: 56.9 dB in Quiet Mode, no figure for emptying
Only two Narwal figures name the quietest setting, the Freo 20's 56.9 dB in Quiet Mode and the Freo X10 Pro's under 59dB in silent cleaning mode, and their units differ, so no current Narwal ranks as quietest. Narwal rates one dock action, mop washing on the Flow, and no dock emptying.

Dreame noise level, Quiet to Max: 55 to 72 dB in its own blog
The Matrix10 Ultra is lowest in every mode of the one Dreame table that gives exact figures for two current robots side by side: 58 dBA in Quiet, 62 in Standard and 67 at Max, against 61, 65 and 71 dBA for the X60 pair. Dreame spec tables carry no noise row; most figures come from its blog.

ECOVACS noise level: 60 to 64.9 dBA sweeping, 70 to 83 emptying
The DEEBOT X9S PRO OMNI lists 60 dBA sweeping and 60 dBA sweeping and mopping in standard mode, the lowest robot figures on a current US ECOVACS, though its table matches the sold-out T90 PRO OMNI's. DEEBOT stations empty at 70 to 83 dBA, and three have a quieter emptying setting.

The quietest canister vacuums, with each maker's figure kept in its own lane
Only SEBO and Miele print a noise figure for the corded canisters they sell in the US, and they print it in different ways. Each figure quoted with its unit, ranked only within its maker, plus cord reach, bags, weight, warranty and which low setting you would actually use.

The quietest robot vacuum and mop combos, ranked on the makers' mopping figures
When a maker prints a mopping noise figure, the robot's vacuum fan is usually slowed or stopped. We sort mop-mode and sweep-and-mop figures under the label each maker prints, rank only like with like, and cover mop type, carpet lift and the dock.

The quietest robot vacuums under $300, and what you give up at this price
Robot vacuums with a maker list price of $300 or less that carry a published noise figure: each figure as printed, with its mode, grouped like with like. Plus which sales do not count, and what the makers say you lose: the dock, the map, mop lifting.

How loud is a Roborock? 53 to 65 dB, mostly in mop-only mode
In Balanced, the vacuuming level, the QV 35A lists the lowest Roborock figure, 64dB, and in Mop Only the lowest single figure, 55dB, against 65dB and 60dB for the Q7 M5. The Qrevo CurvX's 53dB, in Standard Mop-only Mode, uses a label no other Roborock shares, and no figure covers Quiet, Turbo or Max suction.

Tineco vacuum noise: A30S at 67.1 dB, floor washers kept apart
Of nine Tineco sticks, only two carry a figure, and the A30S's "Noise Level 67.1 dB" is 2.9 dB under the A50S's, with no mode named for either. FLOOR ONE floor washers print dB(A) and dBA figures, kept in their own lists, and their SilentDry drying cycle runs at 40 dB(A) or less on two models.

The quietest cordless stick vacuums, mode by mode
The Roborock H60 is our pick: Roborock prints a figure for each of its modes, both sound power upper limits: 81 in MAX and 75 dB(A) or less in ECO. See which makers name a mode at all, auto modes that ramp up on carpet, docks you can hold, and the MAX and Boost figures a home with pets needs.

The quietest wet dry shop vacuums
Shop vac makers publish three different kinds of noise figure under similar labels. See the quietest, and why one brand at 87 dB may beat another at 60.

The quietest vacuum cleaners
Four vacuum brands are the whole story on noise figures, and most quote their loudest mode. The quietest on paper, and why Dyson looks worst for saying more.

The quietest robot vacuums, and how loud their docks get
Robot vacuum noise figures usually describe quiet mode, and the self-empty dock is far louder than the robot. See what makers publish, what to buy, which docks can be held silent overnight in an apartment, and which figures cover the strong modes pet hair needs.
